Bargara

Perfectly positioned along the east coast of Queensland, at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef, is the largest coastal township of the Bundaberg Region. Situated only 15 minutes from Bundaberg airport; Bargara enjoys the most temperate climate in Australia, with low humidity and average temperatures ranging from 16 - 26 degrees.

There is a fantastic array of quality property within a few hundred metres of Bargara's vibrant town centre, along The Esplanade which embraces the coastline with cycle-ways, playgrounds, picnic areas, timber decks and boardwalks overlooking Bargara Beach.

There are numerous dining options to choose from, whether alfresco or restaurant, and a delightful village shopping precinct and modern supermarket complex.

World famous Mon Repos Turtle Rookery is nearby (8 kms), which supports the largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the eastern Australian mainland and has the most significant loggerhead turtle nesting population in the South Pacific ocean region.

The city connects via air and/or boat to thirteen islands and more than twenty reefs. The region has glorious beaches, with Bargara being the most popular.
